Jennifer Axinn-Weiss first exhibited her artwork in 1980, at age 18, when her ceramic work was included in a group exhibition located at Udinotti Gallery in Scottsdale. Within 6 years she had her first solo exhibition at the Arizona State capital Building. Since that time she has exhibited work in many venues including American University, University of California at Berkeley, The Anderson Museum in Richmond, Virginia, and the Arts commission of the city of Florence, Italy. In the 1980's Jennifer was commissioned to build several large scale Lobby sculptures, one located at Westbury, New York, and another located within Volvo head quarters, in Montvale NJ. Her work is included within both corporate and private collections nationally. Hudson Valley exhibitions include Deep Listening Space, Omega Institute, Sharada Gallery, The Artist's Palate In Poughkeepsie, and Twist Restaurant in Hyde Park.
Axinn-Weiss has a Master of Fine Art in sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was honored as a Fellow. In 2009, Jennifer was selected as an Artist in residence at Omega Institute. In addition, Jennifer works with "Arts for Healing" through Mill Street Loft, bringing art processes to Vassar Brothers Hospital Pediatric ward. Jennifer has an art studio and private Expressive Arts Practice, in Rhinebeck, where she lives with her husband Michael, a wine professor at the CIA and a James Beard award winning author.
